Questions tenants ask about bond cleaning
How far in advance should I book a vacate clean?
We recommend booking at least 5–7 days before your final inspection date. This gives us
flexibility to schedule your clean and allows time for any follow‑up if needed.
Peak moving periods (end of month, school holidays) book out quickly, so earlier is better.
What happens if the property manager finds something during inspection?
If something is genuinely missed and falls within our scope of work, we'll come back to
address it — subject to our re‑clean policy and timeframe conditions. We take feedback
seriously and aim to resolve any concerns promptly.
Do I need to be home during the clean?
Not necessarily. Many tenants prefer to hand over keys or arrange access via their property
manager. We just need someone to let us in and ensure we can access all areas. We'll confirm
access details with you before the job.
What's the difference between bond cleaning and regular house cleaning?
Bond cleaning is more detailed and thorough than a standard house clean. It covers areas
that are often overlooked in regular cleaning — like inside ovens, behind appliances,
window tracks, skirting boards, and light switches. The goal is to return the property
to the condition it was in at the start of your tenancy.
Can I book a clean for the same day as my inspection?
We generally recommend having the clean done at least 24 hours before the inspection.
This gives you time to check the property yourself and allows us to address any last‑minute
concerns. Same‑day bookings are sometimes possible but depend on our availability.
Good to know: A thorough clean can make a real difference at inspection time.
While we can't guarantee the outcome — that's ultimately up to the property manager or landlord —
we do our best to give you peace of mind with a detailed, honest service.
